Turn left at the top of the path and crawl past the sleeping Piranha Plant. Run up the length of the wall - following the yellow arrows on the ground. Stand at the base of the path and perform a back jump (jump while crouched) to reach the top of the stone wall (it has a row of coins on top). The dirt path leads up and around the fortress, but you can take a shortcut instead. Start by walking forward and jumping onto the ledge that’s at the base of the dirt path. To earn this star, you'll have to take down Whomp, the large enemy that's waiting at the top of the fortress. This is the first mission available in Whomp's Fortress.
